Cult Movie Thursdays at the Bundy Museum presents: The Haunting (1963)

Martin Scorsese calls this 1963 version of "The Haunting" the scariest movie ever made, and he's not alone. It's made dozens of top 10 lists, and for good reason! This one is really really scary. If you like scary movies, this is one of the best, and if you're easily frightened, wear your Depends... you're gonna need 'em! Directed by Robert Wise - who also made one of our other favorite movies The Andromeda Strain, not to mention The Day the Earth Stood Still and (oddly) West Side Story, this film is based on the Shirley Jackson novel "The Haunting of Hill House" and is remarkably CREEPY!!
